The 2026 Production Guild Awards has announced its nominees, with winners set to be celebrated on Saturday 12 September at the Royal Lancaster London.

The Production Guild has also revealed that comedian and actor Ellie Taylor will host the ceremony.

Taylor is an award-winning comedian and a familiar face in the UK television industry for her work across multiple comedy panel shows, satirical news reporting, and as an actor in the likes of Apple TV’s TedLasso

She will serve as compere for an awards ceremony “which signals the recent evolution of the Production Guild, in response to an ever-changing production landscape”.

“Our awards are a vital part of this evolution, and this year we have introduced six new categories to allow us to celebrate more of our members, and, for the first time, we are announcing nominees for these awards,” said the Guild.

“In a further change, designed to allow more of our members, partners and friends to attend the 2026 ceremony, we have moved the event to central London.

“It will this year take place at the magnificent Royal Lancaster London, with excellent transport links via Lancaster Gate station.”

Kaye Elliott, Production Guild CEO, added: “Huge congratulations to the 20 outstanding Production Guild members, and to the talented teams behind the six exceptional productions recognised in today’s nominations.

“We’re thrilled to announce this year’s nominees and celebrate the incredible achievements of everyone honoured.

“Our membership is home to some of the most skilled and dedicated professionals in the industry, and these awards provide the perfect opportunity to shine a spotlight on their outstanding contribution to UK film and high-end television.

“I’m looking forward to celebrating with all our nominees on 12 September and hearing their names announced on stage.

“We’re also delighted to welcome Ellie as our host. With her warmth, charisma and understanding of our industry, combined with an impressive body of work, she is the perfect person to lead what promises to be a fantastic evening.”
