Nikon announce the release of firmware version 2.00 for its stylish full-frame mirrorless camera, the Nikon Zf.
Adding new functionality inherited from the Nikon Z9 flagship camera and the full-frame mirrorless Z6III, firmware version 2.00 brings support for Nikon Imaging Cloud to enable the automatic transfer of images to third-party cloud storage services, automatic camera firmware updates, and access to a wide range of creative Imaging Recipes.
Zf users can now take advantage of several new features, including a dedicated birds subject-detection option, providing more powerful detection and tracking performance to enhance bird photography support. Additionally, the Hi-Res Zoom function has been introduced, and functions have been expanded further for greater usability when shooting with manual-focus.
Shooting with manual-focus lenses, including vintage lenses, is now more intuitive than ever. You can easily exit the magnified display by simply half-pressing the shutter-release button. What’s more, a new function allows users to record the aperture values used during shooting for better control and reference.
