‘The Powerful Women of Manaki 44′ is a series in which Manaki present participants from the 44th edition of the International Cinematographers’ Film Festival Manaki Brothers, who have made a special contribution to the film industry.
With their dedicated, both sacrificed and innovative engagement, they are the drivers of positive changes in film and television globally, and serve as a benchmark for future generations of female cinematographers and film workers in other sectors, who will contribute to the shaping of a better world. ICFF Manaki Brothers is committed to increasing the percentage of women in all film professions.
Christina Nowak
Labelled as a thought leader in the industry, Christina Nowak boasts extensive expertise in film, television, and virtual production, having collaborated with companies like 80six Virtual Production Studios and Anna Valley.
With a distinguished background working with renowned brands such as RED Digital Cinema, Ncam, and Megapixel VR, Christina has established a reputation for excellence and innovation. As the founder of New Chapter Production Ltd and co-founder of Women in Virtual Production, Christina continues to shape the future of entertainment with a keen focus on strategic acumen and groundbreaking initiatives. With a multifaceted portfolio spanning a UK board position at the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers, Member of BAFTA Connect, Friend of the Association of Camera Operators, and Cinegirl Ambassador.
Additionally, she serves on prestigious events such as the Manaki Film Festival as Honorary International Ambassador and the advisory board of Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival, demonstrating her dedication to advancing the arts and media landscape with integrity and passion.
