Oct 1, 2024

The 14th edition of the London Rolling Film Festival, held at VUE Piccadilly London on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September successfully closed yesterday with the final industry panel and afterparty taking place at the Queens Head in Piccadilly.

An impressive number of industry professionals, from BBC presenters to executive producers and investors, attended the event, including Robbie Moffat, Amanny Mohamed, Joanne Mitchell, Paul McEvoy, Rachael Sutherland, Mike Smith, Adriana Kulig, Kwadjo Dajan, Simon Boswell, Alan McQueen and Peppe Zarbo.

The festival is forever grateful to their sponsors Palm Tree Universal and Yes She Cannes for enabling this special event to happen, as well as their media partners The Fan Carpet, Complitaly and Live London Post. The final industry panel was recorded as part of the festival’s new YouTube podcast “A Coffee With…” series, marking another significant step in its expansion. A total of 15 prizes were awarded on Saturday night, following the short film screenings that afternoon. Please see the full list of winners below.

The festival’s founder, Alida Pantone, stated: “I am incredibly proud of how the festival is evolving, and my heart is filled with gratitude for the amazing support from so many wonderful people. First and foremost, I want to thank our main sponsor, Palm Tree Universal, whose belief in us has been invaluable. I also want to acknowledge the brilliant festival team – Rachele Fregonese, Cristian Lazar, Olivia Cordell, Luisa Pretolani, Viktoria Kiss, and Esther Bonnigal-Katz – without whom this journey would not have been possible. Also, a special thank you to VUE Cinema for hosting us for the third consecutive time and to their extraordinary team, as well as to The Queens Head, our fantastic satellite location. This edition has truly been the best one yet, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us all!”
