Harbor Picture Company has appointed leadership of its London Advertising VFX division, with Creative Director, 2D, Fergal Hendrick and VFX Supervisor, 3D, Sid Harrington-Odedra at the helm, announced EVP, Head of Post Production Massimo D’Avolio.
Together, Hendrick and Harrington-Odedra lead a growing team of world-class artists and producers dedicated to delivering cutting-edge visual effects for film, television, and advertising. Supported by Head of Production Kirsty Murray, and Senior Producers Abi Klimaszewska and Hannah Jarrold, this expanded team is set to elevate Harbor’s premium VFX offering in the UK market.
Hendrick brings two decades of experience from renowned post-production houses such as The Mill and No.8. Known for his ability to build creative trust with directors and advertisers, he has spearheaded high-profile campaigns for Samsung, Amazon Prime, and Playstation known for his meticulous approach to compositing and ability to seamlessly integrate VFX into complex narratives.
With 20 years of experience – 15 of those at The Mill – Harrington-Odedra has worked alongside celebrated directors like Taika Waititi, Tom Hooper, and Ian Pons Jewell, contributing to visually ambitious projects for The Chemical Brothers, Sky, and the BBC. His expertise in 3D and CGI strengthens Harbor’s ability to create immersive, boundary-pushing visual experiences for clients.
Supporting the creative leads is Head of Production Kirsty Murray, who brings 16 years of experience at some of the industry’s top VFX studios, including Absolute and Glassworks. Known for her exceptional leadership and deep technical expertise in platforms such as Baselight, Flame, and Nuke, Murray has overseen major campaigns for brands including Apple, M&S, and Lexus. At Harbor, she leads a powerhouse production team focused on delivering seamless project execution and world-class client experiences. Her long-standing relationships with directors, agencies, and brands are a testament to her collaborative approach and commitment to excellence.
The team has already made an impact at Harbor delivering high-profile projects such as The Next Big Thing Is You for Samsung, The Next Game Is Served for Just Eat, Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2, and Waitrose’s celebrated 2025 Holiday campaign, Sweet Suspicion.
