Godox has introduced the KNOWLED M300R, a full-colour RGBWW LED light designed for use in professional film, broadcast, and commercial productions. The M300R expands the KNOWLED series with enhanced colour control, output strength, and compatibility across lighting setups.
High Output and Full-Color Spectrum
The M300R is equipped with an RGBWW LED chip-set and delivers a measured output of up to 101,000 lux at 1 meter (with reflector) at a 30°beam angle.
It supports a CCT range from 1,800K to 10,000K, along with full HSI color control, allowing precise adjustment of color temperature, hue and saturation across the 360°color spectrum. The fixture maintains consistent color fidelity, with a CRI and TLCI of 95+.
The M300R features a±100% green/magenta (G/M) shift adjustment and ultra-fine dimming down to 0.1%, offering precise control for cinematographers to fine-tune lighting to match various on-set conditions and camera profiles.
Measured at 1 meter without modifiers, the RGB output levels are as follows: 3,450 lux for red, 7,270 lux for green and 2,070 lux for blue. The fixture’s full-color output falls within a performance range comparable to or above typical 600W-class LED lights.
These values reflect the individual intensity of each color channel within the RGBWW array and offer insight into the unit’s color mixing capabilities.
The M300R also supports a range of professional color modes, including CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, X-Y, and FX, offering flexibility for a wide range of production requirements.
Physical Design and Durability
The M300R weight only 3.6kg (light-body without yoke) and features a compact design for easy handling and transport.
An integrated yoke with quick-release locks ensures fast, secure setup, while support for both AC and V-mount battery power offers flexibility for studio or location use.
Engineered for on-set reliability, the M300R is housed in a durable metal enclosure and rated IP54 for resistance to dust and water.
Control and System Integration
The M300R offers comprehensive control options including on-board, CRMX, DMX, Bluetooth control via KNOWLED App and Ethernet control.
These options allow for flexible integration into existing lighting systems, from small studios to multi-fixture productions.
Mounting and Ecosystem Compatibility
Equipped with a Bowens mount, the M300R is compatible with a wide range of standard modifiers. A full range of accessories is available, including softbox, Pro Beauty Dish, Projection Attachment, BeamLight Reflector, with additional options to be released soon.
It also designed to operated seamlessly within the broader KNOWLED ecosystem, alongside high-output fixtures such as the MG1200Bi/R, MG2400Bi/R, and MG6K.
