EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival reveals official poster for 2025 edition
Aug 26, 2025

EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival has revealed the poster for its 33rd edition with a design that “pays tribute to the magic of cinema”.
With a concept created by Marek Żydowicz, director of EnergaCAMERIMAGE, and visual framework developed by graphic designer Nadia Kasprowicz (aka genitivart), the 2025 poster leans into the “circus-like aura of wonder and mystery”.
“It draws attention not only to the art of seeing, but also to the art of illusion, inviting viewers to join in a shared game of imagination,” the Festival explained.
In the poster, seen in full below, a smartly dressed prestidigitator draws the Golden Frog from the depths of a black top hat–the emblem not only of the Festival itself, but also one of host city Toruñ’s most recognisable symbols.

The hat functions like a camera obscura, conjuring from darkness a gleaming trophy that heralds the ultimate triumph over the shadows.
Summoned into being by the magician’s gesture, the frog becomes a spark of a new idea, the seed of a story which, in the right hands, takes on form, colour, and true magic.
Paying tribute to the legendary filmmaker David Lynch, who passed away earlier this year, the poster weaves together two traditions of the art of illusion–cinematic and theatrical–while subtly evoking the symbolism of the circus as a place where magic tricks and audience wonder create a shared sense of experience.
Lynch was a notable friend of the Festival and a supporter of its mission, as well as an artist who, of course, often drew on the circus’s imagination and the mystery of performance in his work.
EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival explained: “The magician’s gesture here converges with that of the cinematographer: the precision of working with light and shadow, the art of revealing and concealing.
“The Golden Frog, like a fresh idea, springs from the top hat illuminating the darkness of the theatre and reminding us that cinema unites the mastery of craft with the metaphysics of creative vision.
“This transformation–from idea to image, from darkness to light–becomes the central theme of our poster. It casts a spell we hope you will fall under with us.”
The 33rd EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival will take place on 15-22 November 2025 in Toruń, in the Kujawy Pomorze Region.
It will once again be powered by Energa ORLEN Group, the Festival’s title and strategic sponsor.
