Drylab Media Tech, a leading film and TV production SaaS platform, has announced the signing of a further sales distribution agreement with MediaGuru, a technology service provider to the media industry in South Asia, Middle East and Africa. The new agreement grants MediaGuru non-exclusive distribution rights for the Drylab platform in Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia and Kenya.

This new agreement builds on Drylab’s existing partnership with MediaGuru for distribution in India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and expands Drylab’s marketing reach further into Africa. Distribution partnerships are an important part of the management team’s growth strategy to develop long-term relationships with trusted channel partners with local expertise and networks. These partners have a proven track record for delivery in their respective territories and are facilitating rapid international market penetration as the platform scales globally.

John Mahtani, CEO of Drylab Media Tech, said: “It is great to have strengthened our partnership with MediaGuru into even more territories. MediaGuru has extensive reach in Africa, which is a huge growth market for the film industry, so this is a great step forward for Drylab. Our channel strategy is key to helping us penetrate new markets at a rapid pace. Drylab is now being distributed across markets in Europe, Middle East, South Asia and Africa.”

Sanjay Salil, CEO of MediaGuru, added: “As a leading media services company, MediaGuru provides cutting-edge technology solutions to clients globally and we are excited to able to expand our offer by marketing Drylab in markets where we have a good network. Just Nollywood on its own, is the second largest film industry in the world based on film output, which just goes to show how big the market opportunity for the Drylab platform is in Africa.”
