CVP adds two new appointments to its EMEA sales team

Jun 13, 2022

CVP has appointed Benoit Foucault and Niels Lubbers into senior sales roles based in Belgium and the Netherlands respectively.

The announcement coincides with the opening of CVP Belgium as part of the company’s continued investment and expansion in Europe.

Benoit brings over 20 years of media industry experience to the role, most recently having spent the last 10 years as sales and rental manager of the video department and broadcast at TV CONNECTIONS. He has a proven track record for setting up and developing sales divisions for businesses and has a deep understanding of the media production market.

Niels brings with him solid experience in film, TV, and camera sales having built and grown for 14 years, before working with ColourTools and finally bringing his knowledge and passion to CVP.

“Growing our teams and presence across Europe is a strategic priority for us. At a time of rapid growth for CVP, Benoit and Niels bring knowledge and experience of the whole supply chain – from content production, and supplier community through to content distributors,” said Jon Fry, managing director of CVP. “As we grow, our priority lies in continuing to bring our expertise and personalised attention closer to our customers, to be nearer to the projects and provide quicker response times.”

CVP originally set up operations in Belgium in 2021 and has invested significantly in new sales and warehouse infrastructure since. The Belgium facility comprises 650sqm dedicated to stocking the latest and most popular production equipment. The facility not only enables the company to tackle the challenge of availability with its large local stock holding across both the UK and Belgium, but also improves delivery times and access to knowledgeable technical sales and support advisors. Customers can also access more competitive prices for their kit from mainland Europe, as CVP Belgium offers free shipping on EU orders over €1,000 and duty and VAT free prices where applicable.

The facility in Belgium also incorporates an Engineering department, home to state-of-the-art technology, dedicated to restoring equipment back to A1 condition and boasting a large collection of spare parts stock. As a trusted partner, CVP is immensely proud of its manufacturer approved, Authorised Service Centres and its team of specialist technicians whose wealth of knowledge, expertise and direct experience of production and testing enables them to turnaround repairs and services faster, ensuring the down time on equipment is minimal.

CVP is committed to making production equipment more accessible and affordable. With a deep understanding of the industry, its technology life cycles and the urgent need for kit, it is challenging the way people think. The team offer a fresh new approach to asset finance (including a range of leasing deals, refinancing, and bespoke arrangements) and can advise on all aspects of a solution or technology to suit each client’s needs – before, during or after purchase. In addition, CVP will buy, sell and trade-in its customer’s existing equipment.

“CVP Belgium provides a practical solution to the needs and challenges of our EU customers, removing their barriers to efficient and cost-effective productions. Our presence in Europe fulfils our mission to put our customers at the heart of our operations,” added Jon Fry.

There is much more in the pipeline for CVP Belgium, with a versatile demo facility accommodating a variety of events, workshops, and tests to create bespoke solutions – designed to mirror our London capabilities – planned to open this summer.

The CVP team will be on Stand 222 at EuroCine Expo 2022 in Munich from July 1st – 2nd.
