Creative Coalition Festival 2023 launched last night with an Opening Gala at London’s Southbank Centre, in partnership with TikTok.
The packed evening of speeches and performances included an address from the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, the Rt Hon Lucy Frazer KC MP, in which she announced another £2.6 million investment to support R&D in the Creative Industries through the Creative Industries Clusters Programme.
Other highlights included Lily Cole in conversation on creativity and activism, as well as a performance from 2022 BRIT Rising Star nominee, Lola Young.
Creative Coalition’s three day Virtual Festival kicked off at 1pm yesterday with an opening keynote speech from Creative UK Chief Executive, Caroline Norbury OBE, as well as a broadcast of the Secretary of State’s speech from last night.
