Cooke announce the opening of its latest exhibition at the Cooke London Gallery: Creative Gravity.
The new exhibition, Creative Gravity, focusses on the creative relationship between cinematographer Lol Crawley (BSC) and director Brady Corbet.
Through a series of unique interviews, the exhibition provides an insightful commentary on how they collaborate and communicate to translate a script into visual language. The pair have worked together on Corbet’s three films to date: The Childhood of a Leader (2015), Vox Lux (2018) and, most recently, The Brutalist (2024). The latter won three awards at the 2025 Golden Globes for Best Director, Best Film and Best Actor in the drama category and the pair have picked up nominations for Best Director and Best Cinematography, along with a host of other related nominations. For both the upcoming Critics Choice and BAFTAs, a common thread between the three features is the choice of Cooke lenses on Kodak film.
By visiting Cooke’s Creative Gravity exhibition, you will embark on a journey to discover how Crawley and Corbet were first drawn to each other and how their relationship has evolved during the making of these three projects.
Cooke is hosting a private gallery opening on Thursday 30 January. The exhibition will then be open to the public from Feb 3, Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30.
