Complete the Film + TV Charity’s Looking Glass survey on mental health and wellbeing
Jun 3, 2021
Is work leaving you feeling shattered? By telling the Film + TV Charity your experience you can help make a real difference to the support the organisation offer to the industry.
In 2019 they ran The Looking Glass Survey, looking at the mental health and wellbeing of people working behind the scenes in the film, TV and cinema industry. More that 9,000 people completed the survey, with the results highlighting a mental health emergency in the industry.
Now, they want to hear from you again. The last two years have presented everyone working in film, TV and cinema with unprecedented challenges. By taking part in the survey, you will help them provide support to everyone behind the scenes in the industry and hopefully allow them to shape that support with an up-to-date view of what’s happening to their mental health and wellbeing.
With the results of 2019 survey they launched the Whole Picture Programme, a programme of change built in collaboration with the industry. The programme includes toolkits for mentally healthy productions, peer-to-peer support for freelancers, people skills and training guides, industry actions for improving behaviours and new, recently launched bullying services.
This programme of work was only possible with the completion of the survey. You can make sure these services continue to develop with people in the industry, by taking 15 minutes to complete the survey.
