Nominees for the 96th Oscars were celebrated at a special lunch held at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton on Monday 12 February. The Oscar Nominees Luncheon is an annual tradition honouring those nominated for the prestigious gold statuettes both in front of and behind the camera.
Among the attendees were four of the five Best Cinematography nominees: Ed Lachman ASC (El Conde), Matthew Libatique ASC LPS (Maestro), Rodrigo Prieto ASC AMC (Killers of the Flower Moon), and Hoyte van Hoytema ASC FSF NSC (Oppenheimer). These cinematographers, along with Robbie Ryan BSC ISC (Poor Things), will find on Sunday 10 March who’ll be taking home the Academy Award.
