BSC Golf Day 2023

Sep 20, 2023

On a sweltering day in September the BSC held their 2nd Golf Day at Burnham Beeches GC with numbers growing from last year the day was a great success, enjoyed and supported by Members and Patrons.

9 teams took part from CVP, Kodak, ARRI CT x2, Prolight, Harbor Picture Co, Terry Lewis (the Gaffers), Pixipixel and the BSC.

Some teams unfortunately had dropouts on the day, Helen Maclean from the BSC Office stepped in for Team Harbor Picture Co and a ‘ghost’ players score was used for the others, so each team had 4 players.

After playing 18 holes in temperatures reaching 78 degrees and many carrying or pushing trolleys a well-deserved drink was needed on the patio, followed by a buffet lunch.

With the BSC President on a recce, James Friend ASC BSC kindly stepped in to present the prizes.

1st – Team Harbor Picture Co – Dan Clark, Clive Ogden, Giovanni Alessi & Helen Maclean – 86 pts

2nd – Team ARRI CT – Tom Murphy, David Green & Derek Suter Hon BSC + ghost’ player – 82 pts OCB

3rd – Team CVP – Nigel Bennett, Emma Pritchard, Jon Fry & Michael Groom – 82 pts

Nearest the Pins were won by – Jon Fry and David Green

We look forward to growing our numbers again for next year, especially with Ladies, so if ‘Golf’ is your thing, please get in touch – helen@bscine.com
