The BAFTA Breakthrough UK, US and India programmes for 2023 are now open for applications from the next generation of creative talent in film, games and television.
BAFTA Breakthrough highlights up-and-coming creatives, selected by an industry jury, who have enjoyed a breakthrough year in the industry. The cinematographers on last year’s programme included Diana Olifirova (UK) along with Alex Pritz, Charlotte Hornsby and Daphne Qin Wu (US).
Successful UK applicants receive tailored support from BAFTA for a year, including industry introductions and career development. In addition, Breakthrough participants receive voting membership of BAFTA for a year, which gives them free access to BAFTA events and screenings, as well as to the members’ space at 195 Piccadilly.
Apply via the BAFTA website by 12pm on Thursday 22 June.
