The French Society of Cinematographers has announced the winners of the 2026 AFC Awards, celebrating excellence in cinematography.
Held on Tuesday 3 February at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, the winners were revealed by five figures from the french film industry.
Presented by Jean-Marie Dreujou, president of the AFC, and hosted by comedian Tristan Lopin, the ceremony saw Patrice Leconte, Artus, Sébastien Lifshitz, Romane Gueret and Baya Kasmi open the envelopes containing the winners’ names and present each of them with their award.
Among the winners were Oscar nominee Autumn Durald Arkapaw ASC for her inventive work on Sinners and Jacques Jouffret ASC for his lensing of Netflix’s gritty Western hit American Primeval.
