CVP launches expanded Belgium facility
Aug 9, 2023
CVP, leading provider of production equipment and services, has furthered its strategic expansion in Europe.
Responding to the challenges posed by Brexit, CVP applied its 37 years of unmatched experience to establish operations in Belgium in 2021, allowing for seamless and duty/tax efficient shipping to EU countries. The success of this venture has since led to the opening of a larger and more comprehensive facility in Vilvoorde, Belgium.
Led by René van der Reiden, MD of CVP Belgium, and supported by Account Managers Niels Lubbers and Benoit Foucault and Internal Sales Support Maarten Vanhove, the new CVP facility in Vilvoorde spans over 850m², comprising sales offices, demo spaces, engineering facilities, and warehousing dedicated to stocking the latest and most sought-after production equipment.
This expansion to Europe ensures that CVP can efficiently address availability challenges and significantly improve delivery times, as well as enhancing the overall customer experience for multiple European countries. European customers will also benefit from locally-based, knowledgeable technical sales and support advisors thanks to the company’s “Care Team”, a purposefully dedicated unit to support people in multiple languages.
With access to the largest collection of spare parts in Europe and staffed by a team of specialist technicians, the new Engineering Department at the Belgian facility delivers unmatched expertise in production and testing. This team ensures swift repairs and services, minimising downtime for customers’ equipment.
Additionally, CVP has established a dedicated Service Centre, expanding its renowned Pro Repairs and Service Capabilities to the rest of Europe, led by Engineering Manager Ismail Kalinbaldir, an authorised engineer with almost 20 years of experience in the industry. CVP is one of the world’s only approved Authorised Service Centre’s (ASCs) to many of the top manufacturers in the industry, including Canon, Sony, RED*, Core SWX, BeBob, Teradek, SmallHD, TV Logic, Angenieux*, Cartoni, O’Connor, Sachtler, Vinten and Litepanels, and now European users will be able to take full advantage of this unique expertise.
“CVP believes in continuously pushing boundaries and revolutionising customer service. With the expansion in Belgium, we are bridging the gap in the European market for fast and reliable repairs and service,” said René van der Reiden, MD of CVP Belgium. “We are excited about the opportunities this expansion presents, and we look forward to building successful partnerships and expanding our presence in the heart of Europe.”
*CVP’s Authorised Service Centre for Angenieux and RED is only available in the UK.
