Sugar Studios has announced the launch of its new initiative, Made Sweeter, designed to support underrepresented and financially impacted creatives by providing flexible pricing packages, production support and dedicated studio access.
The move aims to make the creative process more compassionate, accessible and sustainable, the organisation revealed.
In a press release, Sugar Studios said: “Since its opening in 2018, Sugar Studios has stood as a champion of creativity and collaboration, hosting a range of clients in theatre, music, film, advertising, sport, fashion, art, virtual production, community events and more.
“Through every industry hurdle, the team has remained committed to helping creatives turn obstacles into opportunities.”
Jo Wallace, studio director, added: “At Sugar Studios, we want to give storytellers every chance to make their projects possible.
“Made Sweeter is about more than just studio time. It’s about fostering opportunity, building trust, and nurturing long-term creative relationships.
“We believe that every creator has something valuable to contribute, and by supporting them, we hope to help shape and sustain a vibrant, inclusive creative community where ideas can flourish and collaborations can grow beyond a single brief.”
Made Sweeter is dubbed as a “promise to storytellers from across the industry”, spanning from rising talent to blossoming ad agencies to virtual production start-ups, that creativity can thrive no matter the circumstances.
Sugar Studios is offering:
- Flexible pricing models.
- Dedicated studio time and space for passion projects, early-stage work and community events.
- Discounts on catering and in-house production materials.
- Partnership opportunities for those seeking mentorship or collaborative resources.
Sugar Studios, located along the river in Greenwich’s Design District, is home to four studios: The Infinity Cove, Green Screen, The Big Stage and Blackout Photography Box.
It offers drive-in capabilities, sprung wooden floors, free parking and an on-site cafe.
“Filling our studios with creatives is always the goal. And if we can help make that happen, everyone benefits,” said Karen Thomson, finance director.
The programme launches this October and will run for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026. Participants must meet qualifications set by Sugar Studios in order to be considered.
