CVP, one of Europe’s leading resellers and providers of professional video and broadcast solutions, has announced the appointment of Mark Szeliga as sales director.

Szeliga brings over 18 years of experience from his career at Canon, where he held a variety of positions in Hong Kong, Canon Europe, and Canon UK.

Most recently, in his senior leadership role within Canon UK, he led Canon’s B2B Imaging Channel, supporting a diverse range of end users and resellers with imaging and lens technology opportunities.

During his tenure, Szeliga worked with both direct and indirect clients across public and commercial sectors.

Over the past five years he has built an understanding of CVP’s core base of customers, who operate within the broadcast, rental house and production markets.

CVP has said he aims to utilise his knowledge of emerging imaging technology markets to help support CVP’s growth ambition.

Jon Fry, CEO of CVP, said: “Mark joins CVP at a very exciting time, as we continue to invest in key people and pursue strategic growth initiatives that will take the business to the next level.

“His extensive experience, deep knowledge of the imaging sector, and proven leadership qualities make him a fantastic addition to our team as CVP evolves and strengthens its offering to customers and partners.”

In his new role at CVP, Szeliga will be responsible for driving the company’s sales strategy, building on CVP’s reputation for “exceptional customer service and technical expertise”, the organisation revealed, and leading the sales team into its next phase of growth.

Szeliga added: “I am very excited to join CVP at such a dynamic point in its journey. Having worked alongside CVP for many years while at Canon, I have long admired their innovation and commitment to customers.

“I look forward to contributing to the company’s continued success by helping to drive and support their ambitious growth plans.”
