The Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival (EMIFF) and the Mallorca Preservation Foundation join forces to launch the first environmental film series, entitled Conscious Cinema. This cycle arises with a double objective; that of generating greater awareness about the environmental challenges facing our planet, while vindicating the role of cinema as a tool to raise awareness and mobilize society.
Conscious Cinema is a space for meeting and reflection that goes beyond a series of screenings. It is a platform dedicated to exploring and highlighting the most pressing challenges facing our planet, using cinema as a powerful vehicle for awareness and social transformation. Throughout this cycle, four documentaries will be presented that address crucial issues such as underwater noise pollution, ecosystem restoration through sustainable agricultural practices, innovative solutions to combat climate change and the conservation of emblematic cultural and natural landscapes.
