Pixipixel adds more rehoused glass to its vintage lenses line-up

Aug 20, 2024

Rental house Pixipixel announce the arrival of new Iron Glass lenses from Ukraine, completing our Soviet Rehoused MKII set, now comprising of 20mm, 28mm, 37mm, 58mm, 85mm, and 135mm. The Iron Glass Soviet Rehoused MKII lenses feature dreamy flares and swirly bokeh and were among the lenses used by Oscar-winning cinematographer Greig Fraser, ACS, ASC on Dune: Part Two.

In addition, Pixipixel have all 17 focal lengths in the Olympus OM Zuiko series. These are unique among vintage lenses for their combination of compact size, uniform f/2.0 apertures, and consistent performance, covering full frame and offering distinct aesthetic qualities comprising vintage and modern – sharp with plenty of contrast with very pleasing bokeh and flares.

These new additions complement Pixipixel’s range of rehoused vintage glass such as the Canon K35s, Nikon AI-S, Mamiya 645s, Kowa Anamorphics, and soon-to-arrive Minolta Rokkor lenses.
