UNIT Film & TV welcomes Diane Kingston from Ghost VFX

UNIT welcome Diane Kingston, an industry name and hugely experienced professional who joins as executive producer supporting the continued growth of the longform Film & TV Department.

Formerly a Senior VFX Producer at Ghost VFX, Diane brings over 25 years of experience in Film & TV Visual Effects to her new role at UNIT. Prior to her years at Ghost VFX, Diane held key positions at DNEG, Absolute Post, Molinare, Cinesite amongst others. Throughout her career, her passion for Film & TV craft has seen her play a key part in longform teams and grown her important client relationships.

Diane’s extensive experience across various studios has provided her with invaluable expertise, making her a trusted collaborator in numerous high-end longform projects alongside some of the most esteemed filmmakers in the industry – ensuring her ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, artists, and management.

Throughout her illustrious career, Diane has earned a reputation for her unwavering composure under pressure and her dedication to achieving creative excellence in every project. Her collaborative spirit and passion for filmmaking and storytelling makes her a valuable addition to the UNIT family.

She has also formed great working relationships with many established VFX Producers, VFX Supervisors and Post Production Supervisors within the industry, in addition to working with a great number of talented artists – some of her recent  client relationships include: Amazon Prime, Sky Atlantic, Netflix, Apple, BBC & ITV amongst others.

Diane’s most recent creative project highlights include working on: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Trying, The Crown, Good Omens, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Captain America: Civil War and Spectre amongst others.

The addition of Diane Kingston comes at an opportune moment, with the exciting move to UNIT’s new 8 storey bespoke studio on Margaret Street, Fitzrovia, signalling the next chapter in the evolution of the creative studio combining longform (Film and Episodic) and short Form (Commercials, Music Video, Direct-To-Brand, Broadcast) award winning creative work.

The new studio has taken 6 months to bring to life and will feature stylish interiors, state of the art technical facilities, and reflect the changing nature of the industry with a mix of hybrid working and responding to their client needs. The new space gives maximum flexibility, which means collaboration on every project, regardless of its size or complexity, becomes seamless.

Diane Kingston shared her excitement on joining the UNIT Film & TV team as executive producer: “I am beyond excited to join the incredible team at UNIT. Having long admired UNIT’s reputation for delivering high-end work, I’m excited to dive in and contribute to the next chapter of their success.
