Phil Wood recently finished shooting The Bay S5 (Tall Story Pictures for ITV). Tom Pridham is prepping and about to shoot Jesus Crown of Thorns (Nutopia) in Morocco. The series was directed by Stephen Frears and will be released next year. Andrei Austin ACO worked on Joan for Snowed In this year. He is currently in prep on Lena Dunham’s Too Much. Andrew Bainbridge ACO has just finished shooting on Sherwood S2. Prior to this he worked with DP Vanessa Whyte on the Noel Fielding comedy series coming soon to Apple TV+. Last year he worked on Netflix series One Day which will air in 2024. Chris Maxwell Assoc. ACO worked with Mick Coulter this year on feature film A Scottish Love Scheme. Prior to this he operated B-cam on Nightsleeper for Euston Films, which will air on BBC One early in 2024. He operated A-cam on STVs Screw and Buccaneer’s Crime with DP David Liddell. Dan Evans ACO worked in Cornwall and Bristol on hit children’s show Malory Towers. George Amos has been working on the Untitled Guy Ritchie project on location in the Canaries. The trailer has just dropped for Masters of the Air and will air on Apple TV+ in January 2024. Ilana Garrard ACO spent a few months this year working on location in Croatia on O’Dessa with Rina Yang BSC. She also worked on The Decameron which will be released on Netflix next year. James Frater ACO worked on The Gorge earlier this year for Apple TV+, the release date is still to be announced. James Leigh ACO is currently working on Road Trip for Paramount+. The Lazarus Project S2 has been released this week on Sky One. James’ recent work has also included Michael Sheen’s directorial debut on The Way which will air on BBC One next year. Julian Morson ACO is currently shooting on a Marvel film. Last year he worked on Wicked Little Letters which we look forward to seeing early this year. Heads of State was put on hiatus due to the strikes and is due to start up again soon.
Rick Woollard ACO has most recently been booked to operate Steadicam dailies on Riz Ahmed’s Hamlet. He operates AR and Steadicam dailies on HETV and films such as Scrapper, Mary & George, Unicorns and Alex Garland’s Men. Recently he operated Steadicam on a Bose shoot with Little Simz and The Chemical Brothers (‘Live Again’). With Louis Vuitton this year, he shot on the tarmac at Charles de Gaulle airport with Lionel Messi and from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, having shut down the Champs-Élysées. Tanya Marar ACO worked on The Decameron which will land on Netflix this year. Tom Walden ACO worked on The Ballad of Renegade Nell which will be released on Disney+ this year. Tom wrapped last summer on The Tattooist of Auschwitz for Sky and is now prepping for The Gold S2. Vince McGahon ACO operated A-camera/Steadicam on all episodes of Slow Horses, available to watch on Apple TV+. Will Lyte ACO worked on four episodes of Mary and George, starring Julianne Moore, which will be released early next year. He’s just wrapped on Paris has Fallen for Urban Myth Films; prior to this he operated A-camera/Steadicam on Two Brothers’ Boat Story for BBC One. Zoe Goodwin-Stuart ACO worked on The Burning Girls, currently available on Paramount+, and Wonka, out now. Zoe is currently working dailies on Above the Below and Black Mirror.

Vision Artists
Anna MacDonald had two short films nominated for the short film BIFA. Anna’s short film The Talent, starring Emma D’Arcy and directed by Thomas May Bailey, was also shortlisted for the Iris Prize, as well as Festival of Slaps directed by Abdou Cisse – with the latter taking home the prize. James Blann has wrapped shooting the new series of BBC Comedy Peacock (dir. Joe Roberts through Big Talk). Luciana Riso has wrapped Adeyemi Michael’s documentary feature Hidden Heroes. The feature film focusses on the black soldiers that fought in World War 2 and is produced by October Films, with Maiya Rose on A-camera for the drama leg of the documentary. Nick Morris continues to shoot Sweetpea with See-Saw Films. Directed by Ella Jones, the series is based on the ‘serial killer with a twist’ book from C.J. Kuse. Benedict Spence BSC is currently grading new Netflix series Eric with Benedict Cumberbatch. The series is produced by Sister Pictures and directed by Ben’s long-term collaborator Lucy Forbes. Jack Wilkinson has been shooting the new series of The Responder, starring Martin Freeman and directed by Charlotte Regan.
Jonas Mortensen recently wrapped Chris O’Dowd’s new TV series Small Town Big Story. The Irish set comedy drama is written by O’Dowd and Jonas’ episodes are directed by Catherine Morshead. As well as this, Jonas recently started shooting the new Fudge Park series Daddy Issues, starring Aimee Lou Wood and directed by Damon Beesley. Kia Fern Little continues to shoot the Apple TV+ documentary of a high-profile music star (dir. Luke Monaghan).
