Senior colourist Vanessa Taylor joins Goldcrest Post

Goldcrest Post Production Facilities Ltd, a leading provider of post-production services to the motion picture and high-end television sectors has named Vanessa Taylor as the latest senior colourist to join London’s premier picture post team.

Based out of Goldcrests Lexington Street facility, Taylor will add significant technical and artistic know how to the company’s already accomplished picture department and will be available to grade feature film and HETV projects in both London and New York from January 2023.

A creative industry veteran with an enviable breadth of knowledge and understanding, Taylor started her career in Online Editing/VFX for commercials before moving into colour correction in 2007. Her multi-disciplinary background has spanned features, television drama and documentaries, with recent work including Millennium’s The Protégé for Martin Campbell, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard for the same studio, Studio Canal’s Gunpowder Milkshake, Netflix’s psychological thriller The Wonder, New Regency’s The Northman for director Robert Eggers and award-winning cinematographer Jarin Blaschke, and acclaimed TV mini-series Anne for ITV Studios, about the Hillsborough Stadium tragedy.

Noted for her ability to build relationships with filmmakers in order to help them refine the final look and feel of a project, her contribution, “both complements and enhances the original creative intent through interpretation of the work and close collaboration” says Taylor. “It’s very rewarding to be able to provide my own creative input to these projects”.
