Canon to showcase its broadcast and filming expertise at Wildscreen Festival
Oct 7, 2022
Canon UK and Ireland is to exhibit at Wildscreen Festival in Bristol from 10th to 14th October 2022 showcasing its latest products in-front of an audience of wildlife filmmakers and broadcasters.
As one of the biggest events in the calendar for wildlife film and TV, Canon will be taking along an array of its latest products including its CINE-SERVO lenses, PTZ cameras and remote network cameras and Cinema EOS system to network with visitors looking to build their kit.
Canon Ambassador and underwater filmmaker, Nicolai Deutsch will also be joining the team on Tuesday 11th October at 4pm where he’ll be sharing his experience as an underwater filmmaker. Nico specialises in shooting imagery from beneath the waves using his favourite kit, the EOS C200 with the RF 24-70mm F2.8L IS USM lens. His talk is set to inspire young filmmakers by providing an insight into how he got started in his career and how he works within a small team to create quality productions.
This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Wildscreen Charity, and for the first time it will be held as a hybrid event. The week will see over 2,000 wildlife film and TV storytellers coming together to celebrate and advance natural world storytelling.
