BSC Summer Lunch 2025 in photos

The annual BSC Summer Lunch was again held this year at the stunning De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor, providing a charming and historic setting for the event.

Outgoing president Chris Ross BSC warmly welcomed members and handed out certificates, expressing his appreciation for the strong sense of community within the society. He also solemnly acknowledged those members who had sadly passed away since the last gathering, paying tribute to their lasting contributions and the impact they made on the society, saying, “may they rest in peace.”

Industry supporters and members turned out in strong numbers. Among those present was the Mark Milsome Foundation, which delivered a short speech reaffirming its commitment to supporting emerging talent within the cinematography community.

A particularly moving moment came when Audra Marshall, the society’s company secretary, who recently called time on 17 years of service, was presented with flowers before delivering an emotional farewell speech. She spoke candidly about the difficulty of her decision to step down.
