Panasonic’s AU-EVA1 compact Super 35mm cinema camera is on stand at the Media Production Show 2017, in what is the first appearance in the UK.
In addition, Panasonic is exhibiting the full VariCam lineup, including flagship the VariCam 35, the compact VariCam LT and the VariCam Pure, which provides 4K uncompressed RAW at up to 120fps. All the cameras will be configured to meet a variety of production scenarios.
The Broadcast & ProAV team is joined at the show by Takahiro Mitsui, part of the development team for the AU-EVA1. He has spent a number of years working closely with productions and camera operators as part of the company’s Hollywood Lab, and is on hand to share his experience and talk about the new camera in more detail.
Alongside the new AU-EVA1 and VariCam range visitors to the show are able to see Panasonic’s full remote camera solution, as well as the AK-UC3000 4K live system channel, which was used by Mediapro for the first live 4K broadcast of the Barcelona vs. Real Madrid ‘El Clasico’ football match.
Visit Panasonic at the show on Stand 416, at London’s Olympia from 13-14 June.
