BAFTA Television and Television Craft nominations announced

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced the nominations for the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards.
These awards reward the very best in television craft and television programmes broadcast in the UK in 2020. The Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards ceremony takes place on Sunday 6 June on BBC One and BBC One HD, and the British Academy Television Craft Awards will be streamed on BAFTA’s social channels on Monday 24 May.
The summary of the nominations are as followed:
- 15 nominations for Small Axe
- 10 nominations for The Crown
- Eight nominations for I May Destroy You
- Seven nominations for Normal People
- Six nominations for Sex Education
- Five nominations for Adult Material and I Hate Suzie
- Four nominations for This Country, Once Upon a Time in Iraq and Strictly Come Dancing
