Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest has unveiled the full programme for its 15th edition, taking place on 13-21 September across East and South London.
This year’s line-up includes more than 100 films from 27 countries, showing alongside exhibitions, talks, and community events.
As ever, the programme aims to offer “a louder story: one of joy, solidarity, and radical imagination”, according to event organisers.
The Fringe! team said: “For 15 years, Fringe! has celebrated queer culture as more than survival–it’s joy, defiance, and community.
“This edition showcases the creativity that flourishes in the face of political hostility, proving that art remains a powerful tool for imagining freer, bolder futures.”
The event will open with Niñxs, “a joyous Mexican debut following a trans teenager”, while the festival will close with Brigitte’s Planet B, “a dazzling documentary exploring queerness and ecology in Colombia”.
Elsewhere, feature highlights include This Is Rockbitch , following the radical British femme rock collective Rockbitch, and Rohan Parashuram Kanawade’s Cactus Pears (Sabar Bonda), a tender romance amid grief and tradition in rural India.
Showings of She Done Him Wrong, spotlighting Mae West as a camp icon and queer ally, and Lamia Chraibi’s Circo, an intimate portrait of a young Black queer performer navigating survival and transition in Rio de Janeiro, are other standouts on the line-up.
Together, these films will celebrate queer resilience and creativity across generations, geographies, and genres.
Fringe! will also present 15 shorts programmes spotlighting the range, complexity, and creativity of queer experiences, while special events, arts programmes and more will be on offer throughout the event.
The full programme is now available on the Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest website.
