As the UK film and television industry reaches record heights, with production spend hitting £6.8 billion in 2025 (a 22% increase on the previous year), demand for skilled, versatile actors has increased. Yet one skill remains absent from most mainstream drama training: screen combat.
British Action Academy is aiming to change that, with the launch of the Warrior Masterclass online – a fully on-demand, professional-grade training programme open to aspiring actors and action film fans anywhere in the world.

The Warrior Masterclass online was created to solve this problem, not just for actors in the UK, but for anyone in the world with the passion to learn.
Created by Andreas Petrides, who has over 30 years of professional experience working on the front line of the film and TV action industry, British Action Academy has built a programme that delivers the same techniques used on professional film and TV sets, online, to students regardless of their location, background, or prior experience.
The Warrior Masterclass covers weapon techniques, fight choreography, and screen performance, all taught by Petrides. It is designed for aspiring actors looking to gain a competitive edge, as well as film fans who want hands-on experience of the craft behind the action sequences they love on screen.
