Celebrating its ninth year, the Performance Short Film Competition is back for 2026 – “bigger, bolder and more creative than ever”.
With a prize fund of £1,500 per category, the competition continues to “recognise and reward creativity, innovation and technical excellence in short film production”.
“Whether you are an experienced filmmaker or entering for the first time, this is an opportunity to bring your ideas to life and share your work with a wider audience,” organisers said.
Following the success of previous in-person events, PSFC will once again host an exclusive live showcase and awards event at Howden’s headquarters in London.
To enter, there are just three simple rules. Your short film needs to:
- have been completed after 1st January 2025
- have a maximum running time of 20 minutes
- be submitted no later than the closing date: 30 July 2026
