The new trustees join the Society this month as Sarah Rose, CEO, The Royal Foundation, and Kate Phillips, chief content officer, BBC, step down from the Board, following their move into new roles.

Jane Turton, chair of the RTS Board of Trustees, said: “I am delighted to welcome our new Trustees to the RTS Board. Each brings deep experience and a wealth of expertise from across the television and media industry.

“I know that they will make a huge contribution to the Society and I very much look forward to working together as we continue to champion excellence, education, and innovation.

“I would also like to thank Kate Phillips and Sarah Rose, who have been absolutely fantastic in their support and advocacy for the RTS and for all the very many ways in which they have helped us to grow and strengthen the Society.”

Caroline Cooper joined Sky in 2014 and is COO of Sky Entertainment Group, where she is responsible for business operations across Sky’s content businesses, including production management, business affairs, business development and Sky’s portfolio of production companies.
